Do you remember when you were young and you used to watch Sesame Street, and you memorized those little jingles about letter sounds and words? That's THE ELECTRIC COMPANY. The entire show. <3 Some of you will actually remember the old Electric Company, a series of shorts that worked in between half hour shows like commercials. It was pretty sweet. Now they've revamped the series and used a more upbeat mode for conveying their songs, often using popular music icons. Now I'm not one for mainstream music, but even I can say that I like most of the songs, even if they were done by people I don't like.
The show also has a plot, about kids with the power to create words from thin air, etc. (wiki it for details if you really want to know; I don't want to bore you. I like the show, but I'm sure some readers don't). It's amusing to watch, and I often sit with my sisters and watch it. But aside from the plot of the show, they still have the whole "shorts" thing going on, and they're really cool.
